For the fourth consecutive day, there are under 100 cases in Ontario. Also, one new death was reported and there were 36,772 resolved cases as well.
ONTARIO - The Province confirmed 92 cases of COVID-19 today.
The total number of cases across Ontario stands at 40,459. Today's report says 5,904 of the cases are from residents living in long-term care homes while 2,618 of them are from healthcare workers associated with long-term care outbreaks.
Today there was just one new death reported. As a result, the provincial death toll in Ontario climbs to 2,788 and there were 36,772 cases resolved.
1,800 of the deaths are reported to be from residents in long-term care homes and only eight of the deaths are from health care workers working in those facilities.
2,528,403 tests have been completed to date and there are 35,426 tests under investigation right now.
41 patients are currently in hospital with COVID-19, 17 of them are in ICU with the virus and nine of them are currently in ICU on a ventilator.
