OXFORD COUNTY - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 170 new cases of COVID-19 this morning.
The new numbers include two from Oxford County. The first one was announced by Southwestern Public Health yesterday, however in the list from the Province, they listed a second person with COVID-19 from Oxford County. We are expecting more information on that from the Southwestern Public Health Unit later today. We can tell you it is a woman in her 30's who came into close contact with someone who has the virus and the woman is self isolating.
The 170 cases today is the biggest single increase since the pandemic started. You can read the entire list online here.
We will provide you with more information as soon as it becomes available.
