Police are investigating a death at Memorial Park in Ingersoll, at this time they do not think the death was suspicious.
INGERSOLL - Oxford County OPP have an active death investigation after a woman was found dead at Memorial Park in Ingersoll.
Details are scarce at this point, however police say the death is not being treated as suspicious. Constable Stacey Culbert with the OPP says they are not going to release a lot of information at this time.
"The deceased is an adult female. The death is not being treated as suspicious. Investigation continuing."
Heart FM was tipped off after getting a few messages from listeners. They called into the station after noticing a heavy police presence at the Park on Sunday. The park was cautioned off with tape and the ambulance was at the scene on Sunday around the noon hour.
