Ben Addley is currently the Chief/Director of Paramedic Services, but he will become the Interim CAO for Oxford County on September 6th.
OXFORD COUNTY - We now know who will be the next Chief Administrative Officer for Oxford County.
Ben Addley will become the Interim CAO on September 6th once Michael Duben resigns.
Addley is currently the Chief/Director of Paramedic Services. Ryan Hall, the Deputy Chief, and Manager of Operations and Performance will be promoted to Addley's current position once the change up takes place.
Addley has been working with the County since 2016. A lot has happened since then, including the establishment of the Oxford Ontario Health Team, the Mobile Outreach Bus, and the community paramedicine program. Addley also played a big part in bringing Canada's first hybrid ambulances into service.
County Council will start the process of hiring a permanent CAO once the new term of council begins this fall.
