Over 9,000 people have already cast a ballot in Oxford County.
This election is drawing people out in numbers we haven't seen in a long time.
Spokesperson for Elections Canada Serge Fleyfel says voters really took advantage of the advance polls.
"For advance polls we had 3.6 million electors which is an increase of 71 percent in comparison to the last election, the one from 2011.
According to Oxford's Returning Officer Audrey E. Schultz nine thousand people came out to our local polling stations during the advance polling.
