Some of the top dogs in Oxford County will be competing in the Wildwood Kennel Club's All Breed Dog Show this weekend.
WOODSTOCK - A lot of furry friends will be in Woodstock for the next few days for the Wildwood Kennel Club's All Breed Dog Show.
Woodstock's own Marcie Prior will be showcasing her award winning Bulldogs.
"It's an all breed show so you will see bulldogs and many other breeds there trying to get points and trying to get championships and have fun."
Prior is looking to add more hardware to her shelf, as she describes some of the awards they have already won.
"Oaklyn Diona is here from Mexico City, she won the Bulldog Club of America National Specialty Show in October, and my other dog Quinn is a grand champion with the CKC."
The modest Woodstonian's Oaklyn Diona-Meyer won The American Kennel Club's, Bulldog Club of America National Specialty show in Chicago, which is considered the most prestigious bulldog show with 350 entries. The pooch was Meyer bred; her father (sire) Gannicus was bulldog of the year in Mexico in 2016.
Meanwhile Everli Quinn is a Grand Champion in the Canadian Kennel Club and a Canadian Champion in the United Kennel Club.
Prior is optimistic that Oaklyn should achieve her Grand Championship this weekend.
The Wildwood Kennel Club's All Breed Dog Show is on all weekend at the Oxford Auditorium until Sunday.
