Plenty of local hockey action on the schedule for tonight. The Tavistock Braves are hosting the Hagersville Hawks and the Thamesford Trojans are home against the Exeter Hawks. Both games have a 7:30 pm start. Norwich is looking to bounce back from their shootout loss to Dunnville on Sunday, when they host the Aylmer Spitfire at the Nor-Del Arena tonight. The Merchants are tied with New Hamburg for first in the West Division. Puck drops at 8:00 pm. And the Navy Vets host the Paris Mounties tonight. In their last meeting, Woodstock picked up a point in a shootout victory. Game time is 7:45 pm at the Southwood Arena. Both Norwich and Woodstock are holding their annual Teddy Bear Toss tonight. When the home team scores their first goal of the game, fans are encouraged to toss their teddy bears onto the ice. All of the tossed teddy bears will be donated to local charities and organizations.
