Camryn Rogers won the gold medal in the women's hammer throw yesterday.
PARIS - Team Canada has won 18 medals at the Paris Olympics so far with six gold, four silver and eight bronze.
Camryn Rogers was added to the list yesterday after she won the gold in the women's hammer throw The 25-year-old is from Richmond, British Columbia and she's Canada's first-ever Olympic medalist in the women's event.
Fellow Canadian Ethan Katzberg also won gold in the men's hammer throw over the long weekend, becoming the youngest Olympian to ever win gold in the event at just 22 years old.
As of 6:30 a.m. today, Team Canada was ranked 11th in the overall medal count for Paris.
