The driver was arrested on Beachville Road in South-West Oxford around 11:30 p.m. last night. Police say after he arrived and spoke with an officer, it became apparent that he had been drinking.
An approved screening device was administered, and the driver was subsequently taken into custody for further testing.
As a result, the 37-year-old was charged with operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Woodstock at a later date.
