OXFORD COUNTY - The Federal Election has come and gone... Oxford County is staying Blue.
Conservative candidate, Arpan Khanna will continue to serve as the Member of Parliament for the County. Khanna says he is ready to be the voice for Oxford in Ottawa.
"Whether you voted for me or not, it's irrelevant. I have an open-door policy. My job is to represent all of Oxford, and I look forward to getting back to Parliament to fight for our community every step of the way."
He also wants to send out a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to help and volunteer with his campaign. Khanna speaks to what he plans to do for Oxford in Ottawa.
"As we navigate through these challenging times, I'll make sure I have their concerns and their feedback front and centre. I think that is my job as your public servant."
Khanna says as part of the official opposition, he will be involved with holding the Liberal government accountable, while trying to build a better Oxford County and country.
