The annual event returns this Saturday from 10am-4pm.
WOODSTOCK - Love is in the air at the Oxford County Animal Rescue, along with the smell of sweet treats.
Valentine's Day is coming up next week, so the local animal rescue will be hosting its annual Valentine's Day Bake Sale this Saturday. It's happening at its Woodstock office, which is located at 789 Dundas Street.
Foster Coordinator Anna Holmes says they will have lots of delicious items to satisfy your sweet tooth.
"There's going to be lots of home baked goodies there for your sweet tooth and your sweetheart. We're going to have lots of cats and kittens available, and most everybody that's going to be there on Saturday is less than a year old so between 4 and months old."
Holmes provides a fast tracked way for those looking to adopt a cat.
"If you are interested in a kitty it's always a great idea to get your application in so that we can check those references, and then when you come into the event on Saturday, if there is a kitty that you click with you can take that kitty home because we have already pre-approved your application."
All of the proceeds raised will benefit the animals in their care. The adoption application link can be found here.
Anna Holmes called the Heart FM studio for her monthly chat with Dan and Marcie on Wednesday February 5th.
