The Holiday Spark Campaign is here, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford is looking to raise money for their programs.
OXFORD COUNTY - The spirit of giving continues with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford.
Today is Giving Tuesday, and the organization is rolling over a program that was done earlier this year. Fund Development Manager, Nicole Killaire, shares details about the campaign.
"We ran the Spark Campaign in September for Big Brothers Big Sisters Month, and we're keeping that going into the holiday season with our Holiday Spark Campaign. So, the whole idea here is we are aiming to raise $50,000 that will stay right here in our community."
Killaire offers different levels of donations, and each level will support various areas within the organization.
"$50 would turn an inquiry into a volunteer mentor. $100 would equip an activity bin for our in-school mentoring programs. And $250 would actually create a group session so that more youth can get involved and supported through these great programs."
Donations are being accepted until the 7th, and it was announced that Carmeuse has committed to matching all donations up to $5,000.
