Police found the vehicle on Prouse Road this past Saturday night and one officer detected the smell of alcohol on the driver's breath. The driver is scheduled to appear in a courtroom in Woodstock at a later date.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - A 24-year-old man from Belmont has been charged with impaired driving following a single vehicle collision in South-West Oxford.
Oxford County OPP responded to the collision on Saturday night just after 7 o'clock on Prouse Road.
Police found the vehicle and one officer detected the smell of alcohol on the driver's breath, which led the police to believe the driver had been drinking alcohol.
He was charged with the following offence:
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus).
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Woodstock courtroom at a later date.
