NEW HAMBURG - We are still waiting for an update from Waterloo Regional Police after a body was discovered in the Nith River near New Hamburg.
The body was discovered by a fisherman on Sunday morning. Police along with Wilmot firefighters and the Kitchener Fire Department recovered the body in the area of Grandview and Hunter Street are in Wilmot Township.
Few details are being released at this time. We do know that it was man and the body has been taken to Toronto for a post mortem examination.
