PORTUGAL - Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler has passed away at the age of 75.
The family made the announcement in a post on her social media pages this morning saying she unexpectedly passed away in a hospital in Portugal, where she was being treated for an illness.
Tyler received a Grammy nomination for her power ballad Total Eclipse of the Heart and her album titled Faster Than the Speed of Night. Her other hit songs included I Need a Hero and It's A Heartache, which was her first number 1 hit in Canada back in 1978.
Tyler's is asking for privacy at this time, and says another statement will be released.
