A Brant County 13 year-old girl suffered life threatening injuries after being hit by a car Wednesday night. Brant OPP say around 6:40 pm last night, two pedestrians tried to cross County Road 18 at Johnson Road when the teen was hit by a southbound Chrysler. The girl was taken to Hamilton Health Sciences Centre and is listed in critical condition. Police are continuing their investigation. Later in the night, a 79 year-old woman was hit by a car while crossing William Street at Grand River Street. She sustained minor injuries. The 73 year-old male driver from Brantford was charged with Careless Driving.
