The Tavistock Braves are hoping to use home ice to their advantage as they try to close out the PJHL Doherty Division Championship.
TAVISTOCK - The Tavistock Braves are hoping to use home ice to their advantage tonight for Game 6 of the PJHL Doherty Division Finals.
Tavistock currently enjoys a 3 games to 2 series lead over Ayr. General Manager Jordan Zehr says they are counting on fan support for their game tonight.
"The crowds have been unbelievable all playoffs, the arena will be full tonight and that gives the guys an extra boost and hopefully they can use that to build some momentum and get out to a hot start right out of the gate."
Zehr explains what Tavistock needs to do to be successful tonight.
"We just have to get back into our game, we fell away from it a little bit last night, we need to be the hardest working team out there, get into our system and be consistent on a shift to shift basis. We out of that a little bit last night, so if we can get back into that, we will be feeling pretty good."
Tavistock had a chance to close things out last night but lost a 7-3 in Ayr to force a game 6.
