OPP looking for information on two separate break and enters in Tillsonburg and Norwich
TILLSONBURG -- Oxford OPP are investigating a break and enter in Tillsonburg that occurred some time between May 18th and 25th.
Police say roughly $5100 worth of jewellery and a tablet were taken from the home.
A young man attended the residence on the 18th asking to do lawn work, which seemed suspicious to the resident however no further description was provided.
Police are reminding residents to be vigilant and if you notice suspicious activity in your neighbourhood, report it to police immediately. They also say you should try to get descriptions, licence plate numbers and direction of travel as it is important information for police when the suspects may still be in the area.
OPP are also looking for a suspect(s) following a daylight break and enter in Norwich on Saturday May 24th that occurred some time between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm.
The culprit gained entrance through the garage and pried the door into the house open. Police say they made off with a quantity of meat and some change.
