Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland will unveil the spending plan at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
The budget is expected to include funding to boost defense spending and address housing affordability and cost-of-living concerns.
The government is also expected to address national pharmacare and dental care. The minority Liberals have reached a deal with the New Democrats in order to in order to receive the NDP's support on confidence votes.
