Police have charged a man from Burford with uttering death threats and assaulting a police officer.
BURFORD - Brant County OPP responded to a report of an assault on Sunday afternoon in Burford.
After arriving at the scene and conducting an investigation, police arrested a man. While in custody, the man reportedly uttered death threats and assaulted a police officer.
In addition to his original charge of mischief under $5000, 45 year old Thomas Tillotson has also been charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and assaulting a peace officer.
He is set to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
