The Woodstock Police were able to get an impaired driver off the road and lay multiple charges.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police have laid charges after catching an impaired driver.
It was in the early morning hours yesterday when an 18-year-old Cambridge man was arrested after almost hitting officers, failing to stop, and trying to flee on foot.
He is facing several charges including, dangerous operation, operation while impaired, refusal to provide a breath sample, obstructing a Peace Officer, failure to stop for police, having care of control of a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor, being a novice driver failing to provide a breath sample, and being a novice driver failing to surrender a licence.
He is also facing a 90-day licence suspension and a 7-day vehicle impoundment.
