The Oxford OPP are on the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 59 in East Zorra-Tavistock.
UPDATE 2 - The Oxford OPP are sharing more news about a collision in East Zorra-Tavistock.
This morning at 5:10 a.m., emergency crews were called to the intersection of Highway 59 and Cassel Sideroad after reports of a pick-up truck and SUV colliding. A 50-year-old man from London was the lone occupant of the SUV and was taken to the hospital and was later pronounced deceased, while the driver of the pick-up truck is still in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Highway 59 continues to be closed between Cassel Sideroad and Maplewood Sideroad as the investigation remains ongoing. The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team is on scene helping with the investigation.
Anyone with information or video footage of the collision is asked to contact the Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers.
