Foldens Ella Shelton will get her next chance to suit up for Team Canada at the Olympics tomorrow morning at 8:00 am EST.
Team Canada will take on Sweden in the quarterfinal matchup. Canada finished first in the group A standings with 4 wins and 0 losses. This gives them the edge in the quarterfinals and the semi-finals. They would not have to play the United States again until the gold medal game. If Canada can get a win against Sweden they will most likely face the winner of Switzerland and Russia in the semi finals. Two teams they have already beaten handedly.
Shelton has held her own in her first Olympics. She has 3 assists in 4 games and is a plus 7 at the game. The plus 7 puts her in a tie for 7th place among all players at the tournament.
The game against Sweden starts at 8:00 A.M and you can watch it live on CBC.
