82 employees at the Cargill meat processing plant have tested positive for COVID-19, forcing the factory to shut down immediately for at least 14 days.
LONDON - The Cargill poultry processing plant in London is shutting down for 14 days because of a COVID-19 outbreak.
At least 82 employees have tested positive since the outbreak began. The plant will shut down immediately.
The temporary shutdown will impact around 900 employees.
Cargill says they are implementing extensive safety protocols in an effort to get everyone back to work after the 14 day quarantine period.
