A traffic stop in Brant County has led to charges for a Woodstock resident.
BRANT COUNTY - A Woodstock resident has found themselves in trouble in Brant County.
This morning at 1:55 a.m., a Brant OPP officer conducted a traffic stop on the 403 westbound at the King George off-ramp. The driver had a valid licence, but was using licence plates that were not authorized for the vehicle, and had no current insurance coverage.
As a result, the 39-year-old has been charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, using plates not authorized for a vehicle, failing to apply for a permit to become the owner, and driving a motor vehicle with no validated permit.
The driver will appear in a Brantford Courtroom in May.
