TVDSB. LDCSB, and CSC Providence students are off for March Break this week.
OXFORD - March Break is officially underway for students in Oxford County!
But before you leave your kids home alone or with a babysitter for the next few days, OPP Constable Randi Crawford says you should go over the safety plan with them.
"They should know what they can and can't touch in terms of appliances, make sure they have contact numbers they can call if there's an emergency, and make sure they know not to answer the door unless they know who the person is."
If you're planning a March Break getaway, make sure you prepare for busier traffic on the roads out there. You shouldn't post anything about it on social media until you're home and it's a good idea to have someone check on your home while you're away.
Crawford is also reminding everyone to stay away from lakes and rivers during outdoor adventures.
"Please stay away from these waterways right now. View them from afar and do other things right now so you're safe."
March Break runs from Monday, March 16th to Friday, March 20th for students in the Thames Valley District School Board, London District Catholic School Board, and CSC Providence.
