The progressive jackpot for the London Middlesex Humane Society's Catch the Ace fundraiser is over $100,000 and one lucky person could win it all today.
LONDON/MIDDLESEX - Someone could walk away with $100,000 today through the Catch the Ace fundraiser from the London Middlesex Humane Society.
Executive Director Steve Ryall says you can purchase a ticket for $5, and they have a weekly draw and a progressive jackpot.
"Each week we open up an envelope to find out what card is in there. If the card if the Ace of Spades then they not only win the weekly jackpot but they also win the progressive jackpot."
The fundraiser has been going for 19 weeks and they have not drawn the ace yet. 50 percent of the funds goes towards the Humane Society, 20 percent to the weekly prize and 30 percent to the progressive jackpot.
Ryall notes they are not supported by the Government at any level and are solely supported by the public and corporate donations.
"We do not turn our backs on any animal. When an animal comes into the shelter we take it in, assess the situation, service that animal to rehabilitate and take care of it's healthcare needs to prepare it for adoption. Sometimes that comes with some fairly large investments."
Still time to get your ticket for this weeks draw, and of course you can play every week.
