The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce is getting ready to honour local individuals and businesses for their successes.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce is getting set to host their 19th annual Business Awards of Excellence.
Interim General Manager Deb Masters says they have already announced one of their award winners.
"Well there are lots of awards at this year's event: we have our President's Award, which for the first time we have announced the winner pre-Business Awards and that will go to Bill Gillespie. We also have a Professional Services Award to hand out, Retailer Award, Trades Person of the Year, Energy Conservation and Innovation Award, as well as Outstanding New Business, and Young Professional or Young Entrepreneur."
The event is happening on Wednesday November 2nd at the Oxford Auditorium and will be catered by the Craigowan Oxford Golf and Country Club. Masters says it promises to be a really fun night.
"The night is a real fun exciting event, you walk into an open martini bar where you mingle for the first hour between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m."
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the award ceremony happening at 8 p.m. A full list of nominees for the awards will be announced shortly and you can still purchase tickets through the Woodstock Chamber up until the weekend.
