The 72 year old tradition of celebrating and nurturing local talent continues with The Woodstock Rotary Festival of Music.
WOODSTOCK - The 72nd annual Woodstock Rotary Festival of Music returns next year.
The festival is for music students of all ages and musical disciplines to perform.
Coordinator Brian Jackson says professional adjudicators will be brought in as well.
"The festival also promotes community in Oxford County as it brings together musicians, who may not otherwise have the chance to perform for others and to hear others perform."
Participants have to register by January 16th.
Jackson says they have a new online registration system called Solaris, which you can now sign up through.
"We do have a paper registration form online. The syllabus is at Merrifield Book Shop in downtown Woodstock, you can pick up a free syllabus to find out what class you'd like to be in. There are almost 800 different classes in which an entrant can register."
He adds the event will then culminate to the Stars of the Festival on April 19th.

It goes from March 26th to April 8th.
