New Census data shows Woodstock is growing older, but Tillsonburg is by far and away the oldest population in Oxford County. While Woodstock's rate of seniors has gone up to 16.8 per cent, over a quarter of the population of Tillsonburg is 65-and-older. 25.1 per cent is the senior rate in Tillsonburg according to the 2011 Census. The data also shows Norwich as having the youngest population base. 23.6 per cent of that population base is comprised of kids, and only 12.5 per cent are seniors.
