NORWICH TOWNSHIP - Three out-of-towners are in trouble with the Oxford County OPP.
On Tuesday, the OPP was notified of a break-and-enter in progress at a residence on Old Stage Road in Norwich Township. The suspects fled in a white GMC van before continuing on foot.
They were located by police with the assistance of the West Region Canine Unit. As a result, two 36-year-old men from Toronto and a 29-year-old man from Scarborough have been jointly charged with break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and theft under $5,000. One of the 36-year-olds is facing a fourth charge, which is failing to comply with a probation order.
All three have been held in custody for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
