A warrant was executed in Oxford County resulting in a 20-year-old Tillsonburg resident being charged in a child luring investigation.
OXFORD COUNTY - A Tillsonburg resident has been charged after a child luring investigation.
Yesterday, the Major Crime Unit from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with assistance from members of the Oxford OPP detachment and Digital Forensics Unit, executed a warrant and have arrested and charged one individual.
As a result, the suspect, who is 20-years-old is facing charges of luring a person under 16 by means of telecommunication, two counts of communicating with anyone under 18 for the purpose of obtaining sexual services, and possession of child pornography.
The suspect is awaiting a bail hearing.
