The Children's Aid Society of Oxford County held it's AGM on Tuesday, and it highlighted the six bursaries that were handed out to local youth this year.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Children's Aid Society of Oxford County handed out a total of six bursaries to local youth this year.
The money will help them go to post secondary school. Executive Director Tina Diamond says all of the money was fundraised through the Society's Endowment Fund.
“We are very grateful that the people of Oxford County are so generous with their donations and support.”
This was all discussed during the Society's virtual Annual General Meeting on Tuesday.
The Children's Aid Society of Oxford County also has a new Board Chair. Krystal Yorke officially stepped up to the position during the AGM. She's taking over for the outgoing chair Dan Molinaro.
