Mark and Sharon Present the 3rd Annual Christmas in July on Victoria Street South in Woodstock this Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - It's Christmas in July in Woodstock this weekend.
The 3rd annual event hosted by Mark and Sharon Speechley will start at 8:00 a.m. with a yard sale where all of the proceeds go towards buying new toys for the Sick Kids Hospital in London. Sharon Speechely tells Heart FM they started this event because of her husbands love for Christmas.
"All of our friends know him as the Christmas Freak. My house is decorated in Christmas all day long, everybody that has heard about us and him starting to collect snowmen and stuff like that started bringing us Christmas decorations, so we have quite the collection."
She says everyone can stop by for free all day Saturday from 8 am to 11 pm and they are collecting canned goods for the Salvation Army. The entire house is decorated, including the front and backyard and it is the perfect place to celebrate Christmas in July.
They will also have some live entertainment starting at 7:00 pm. The house is located at 40 Victoria Street South in Woodstock.
