Two separate crashes in Woodstock send a total of four people to hospital with minor injuries.
WOODSTOCK -- Woodstock Police responded to two crashes on city streets that occurred less than an hour apart, Thursday afternoon.
Shortly before 3:30 pm, a van travelling north on Wellington Street made a left hand turn onto Princess Street causing a motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction to brake suddenly, subsequently crashing into the van.
Two males were taken to hospital with minor injuries and the driver of the van was charged with careless driving.
Less than an hour later after, police were at a crash on Hounsfield near Main Street where a vehicle had stopped to turn left into a private driveway. A second vehicle stopped but was rear-ended by a third vehicle, forcing them into the first car.
Three people were treated for minor injuries and police say damages were pegged at $10,000.
