Non-profit and charitable volunteer organizations can apply for a community grant in the Friendly City.
WOODSTOCK - The application window for Woodstock's fall intake of community grants is about to close.
Local volunteer, non-profit, and charitable organizations have until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2nd, to submit an application through the city's website online here. The city uses revenue from hosting Gateway Casinos to fund programs, events, and initiatives that enhance the community's overall well-being.
The city does this twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Fifteen groups received grant funding during the spring intake for 2026.
The Community Grants Committee is responsible for reviewing all applications and compiling a list of proposed recipients to present to City Council for approval.
