WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock has provided an updated list of closures with the new Stay-At-Home orders.
The City made it clear the Province is solely and directly responsible for lifting or easing emergency orders under which the City operates to deliver services.
Here is the latest information from the City regarding the Provincial Orders:
- City Hall, the Engineering Office and the Parks and Recreation Office will remain
closed to walk-in traffic. To book an in-person appointment, please call the main switchboard at: 519-539-1291.
- Building permits will continue to be received and processed, however only essential construction as defined by Provincial restrictions will be able to commence.
- Parks and Trails for walking and exercise are open as well as Park benches, playgrounds, and dog parks. Please ensure social distancing is being observed when doing any activities.
- All other park amenities are closed including: skateparks, picnic areas and tables, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts. As well as soccer, cricket, and baseball fields.
- The Enviro Depot and Recycling Depot will continue with Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday service from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Vehicle restrictions will apply. Please expect delays.
- The Enviro/Recycling Depot will remain closed on Saturdays until further notice.
- The Woodstock Art Gallery and Museum remain closed to the public.
- The Woodstock Public Library will continue with curb-side pick-up service.
