Clouds Block View of "Supermoon"

Overcast conditions this morning in Oxford County is blocking our view of the "Supermoon". The moon is at its closest distance to earth this year, appearing 8% bigger and 17% brighter than usual. Earth and its celestial neighbour are 355-thousand kilometres apart, which is nine-thousand kilometres closer than usual. 7:30 AM was supposed to be the optimal time for viewing in our area.
