Police issued 3 charges and took 6 CMV's out of service after an inspection blitz last week in Tillsonburg.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford OPP and the MTO teamed up to inspected commercial motor vehicles last week in Tillsonburg.
Officers inspected 16 transport trucks and issued 3 charges. 6 CMV's were also taken out of service.
The Commercial Motor Vehicle checks included licencing, documentation, vehicle weight and mechanical fitness.
Last year, OPP responded to over 1000 collisions involving CMV's, which made up 11% of all crashes on OPP patrolled highways.
