The coldest temperatures of the season are expected this week in Southwestern Ontario.
OXFORD COUNTY - A deep chill will settle in this evening in Oxford County and will remain for the upcoming week. Environment Canada says extreme cold warnings are likely to be issued. Temperatures are expected to drop to between minus 15 and 20 celsius. A combination of sun, cloud and scattered flurries are expected.
Across the country, extreme cold warnings stretch from northern and central Alberta to Northwestern Ontairo. Reports say Saskatoon dropped to a cool minus 58 degrees with the windchill, while Regina and Winnipeg were slightly warmer with a temperature of minus 44 with the windchill.
