OXFORD COUNTY - A 40 year-old man has been flown to an out of town hospital with life threatening injuries after his ATV collided with a cargo van.
Oxford County OPP, along with Mount Elgin Fire Services and Oxford EMS responded to the incident today at 11:37 a.m.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Culloden Line and Daniel Road in the Township of South-West Oxford.
According to the report, the collision caused the man to be ejected from his vehicle. He was transported to an out of town hospital by Ornge Air Ambulance.
Daniel Road is controlled by stop signs for east bound and west bound traffic.
The following road closures are going in effect while emergency crews are on scene:
- Culloden Line closed between Mount Elgin Road and Prouse Road.
- Daniel Road closed between Dereham Line and Pigram Line.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are also on scene to assist with the investigation.
