A massive comic book collection, worth about $3,500 has been stolen from a storage complex in Tillsonburg.
TILLSONBURG - A massive comic book collection, worth an estimated $3,500 has been stolen from a storage complex on Moose Street in Tillsonburg.
Police say the break and enter happened sometime between Sunday night and Monday night. Somewhere between 200 and 300 collectable comic books were stolen. The comics include X-Men, Batman, Superman, Twilight Zone, G.I. Combat and Ghost Rider. Also taken during the entry was a very distinctive ten-inch metal slot machine.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says they are asking for the public's help to return these items back to their rightful owner.
"These items that were taken are very distinctive in nature and will stand out in the community. If anyone you know happened to come into a large quantity if comic books or a metal slot machine that they wouldn't normally have, you are being asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122."
