WOODSTOCK - A barbecue and car wash will take place this Saturday afternoon at the Foodland in Woodstock.
Hot dogs and hamburgers will be on the menu, along with other items.
Organizer Naseeb Santohay says the event aims to help those less fortunate in the community.
"Non-perishable items are acceptable. There will be, hopefully, a Salvation Army event where people can drop off their non-perishable items."
Santohay adds he will setup a donation box for the car wash and there is no set amount of money people have to pay to donate. He says they can donate whatever they want.
Proceeds will go towards the Salvation Army in Woodstock.
He is one of the Salvation Army's volunteers and he says it's a huge help to them and it's a cause that everyone should get involved in too.
"There will be pop cans, there will be hot dogs. I'm not sure about the veggie burgers or chicken burgers, but we will definitely have something like that as well."
It will run from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
