Fun for the whole family play called On Golden Pond comes to the Woodstock Theatre.
WOODSTOCK - On Golden Pond is coming to the Woodstock Theatre featuring family dynamics.
Written by Ernest Thompson the play has been revamped to fit modern times. The play is about a love story on Golden Pond that Ethel and Norman Thayler have visited for the 48th year. For more on the play Jennea Smith who is involved in the play.
"Basically the show is about family dynamics and dysfunctional family dynamics. We've got a father and daughter who've been at odds for 45 years. It's also about aging and what that does to a person's mind, body and family dynamic."
Smith says that families can connect with the play like she's done with her dad.
"I could see the dynamics between my dad and his dad and even the dynamics between my father. It's not dysfunctional but, we pick on each other for fun. These people are a little more severe then that.
The play is this February 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th, 15th and 16th, 2019 with a matinee at 2:00 p.m on the 10th. All performances start at 7:30 p.m and tickets are available at their box office or online here.
