The free festival marks the end of the summer in the City of Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Cowapalooza weekend is upon us in the city of Woodstock.
There will be lots of fun activities for the whole family in Southside Park today and tomorrow.
All of the fun will start at 5:30 p.m. today with inflatables and mechanical bulls rides for the whole family to enjoy. Four country themed musical acts will also hit the staged with Taylor Moore, Rob Fitzgerald and the Bucking Broncos hitting the stage tonight.
The festival will also have live music all day tomorrow, starting at 2:30 p.m.. Manager of Special Events Kristen Brodhagen walks us through the packed lineup.
"We have Paper Tides, Chris Koster Music (a former member of the Glorious Sons), Madison Galloway, Stuck on Planet Earth and of course our headliners Burlington's own Finger Eleven closing out the two day event."
Finger Eleven will hit the stage at 8:30 p.m. and the show should be finished by 10:00 p.m..
The inflatables and mechanical bull rides will be back for the Saturday along with a photobooth, Touch-A-Truck, and activities from the Woodstock Public Library. Brodhagen says families will also be able to check out the SuperDogs Wild Woof Show.
"They perform typically at the CNE with choreographed agility, tricks, and relay races performed with music."
You'll have three opportunities to check them out with showtimes from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m..
There will also be lots of vendors and food trucks onside, along with a beverage garden for adults over the age of 19.
