No one was hurt and fire crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading to an outbuilding.
SCOTLAND - Crews responded to a fully engulfed house fire in Scotland.
It was on Maple Ave South, between Norwich Road and Burford-Delhi Townline Road. In a video posted on the OPP West Region X page, Sergeant Ed Sanchuk said the call came in at around 3:00 p.m. yesterday.
"Firefighters arrived on scene and were met with a full engulfed home on fire. They were able to quickly extinguish that blaze and prevent it from spreading to an outbuilding nearby."
He also had some more good news to share.
"The good news, no injuries were reported. Houses and outbuildings can be replaced but people cannot."
Maple Ave South was closed between Norwich Road and Burford-Delhi Townline Road for several hours during the investigation.
No further details have been released.
