Accused killer John Robinson continues to face a barrage of questions during his cross examination today. Crown Attorney Tom Meehan continues to question Robinson's thought process before he struck and killed Clifford Fair with a steel pipe. Meehan pointed out that Amy Gilbert never testified that Fair was making fun of the couple's decor, or that he was acting in a threatening manner before he was attacked by Robinson. Meehan got Robinson to admit that he didn't at all pause to decide whether or not he "had" to use the pipe. Meehan suggested to Robinson it was his plan all along to strike Fair without warning. Robinson said, "I didn't have a specific plan." Robinson also continued to stick to his story that he merely wanted to "shoo" Fair out of the apartment, by striking him in the head with the pipe. Robinson said quote -- "I wasn't looking to incapacitate him." During questioning of the night's events, Robinson was also unable to recall any point in time where Fair got up to use the bathroom, which would have given him the opportunity to steal cologne and a camera, as Robinson has suggested. The cross examination continues. Robinson is facing a charge of 1st degree murder in Fair's death.
