One person has been charged after dangerously operating a motor vehicle on the 401 in Southwest Oxford.
OXFORD COUNTY - One person has been charged following a traffic stop for dangerously operating a motor vehicle.
On October 16, 2023, at approximately 5:27 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle for driving dangerously on Highway 401 in Southwest Oxford.
While speaking to the driver, the investigating officer observed signs of intoxication and a roadside approved screening device (ASD) test was administered.
The driver was then taken into custody and transported to the OPP Detachment for further testing.
41-year-old Adam Faulkner of Tillsonburg, has been charged under the criminal code with dangerous operation as well as two charges for operation while impaired.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on November 28, 2023.
