All of the proceeds raised at the Dave Gunning concert will go towards bell tower renovations.
Reverend Mark McLennan says church will come alive with Celtic folk music when Dave Gunning stops by this Sunday.
"He's a singer songwriter musician. Been well known for years; he's a multiple east coast music award winner, he's been Juno nominated and won all kinds of east coast awards. He's been working around touring the world and touring
Tickets for the event are $20 and they can be purchased at the church office ahead of time or at the door the night of. McLennan tells Heart FM all of the proceeds raised at the concert will go towards church renovations.
"Our building at Knox is 120 years old. It's a brick building, a big building and it's come to the point in its life where it's starting to need to work on our bell tower and our other towers which are sort of the unique feature architecturally of the building. We've had a little damage and we have got a couple of the towers repaired and we've got another one to work on."
The show will begin at 7:30pm.
