UPDATE: Police confirm a 27-year-old man from Thorndale has died as a result of a homicide after he was found in a home on Leesboro Trail. Members of the Rocky Mountain House Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) also found the body of his husband, a 30-year-old from Thorndale, in Alberta.
MIDDLESEX - Police are investigating a death at a home on Leesboro Trail in Thorndale.
Police found one man deceased in the home on Tuesday and they've confirmed 27-year-old Sean Collins of Thorndale died as a result of a homicide following a post-mortem exam.
On Thursday, members of the Rocky Mountain House Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) responded to man who was deceased and found in the North Saskatchewan River in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.
Police believe 30-year-old Alexander Collins of Thorndale died from drowning. The London Free Press reports he was the husband of the deceased who was found in Thorndale.
Police say there is no risk to the public at this time.
The Middlesex County OPP Major Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), are working together with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Major Crime Unit in Alberta on this homicide investigation.
